Angelo joined the company when it was established by his father, Rocco, in 1953. In the ensuing years, he has been the guiding force in the company’s evolution from a small concrete contractor to the diverse industry leader it is today.
Throughout his career, Angelo has served on several committees of the American Concrete Institute and other industry groups, as well as several boards of charitable organizations.
Carey maintains daily involvement with all corporate activities for the management, accountability and success to the overall operations of the firm. These interactive functions are accomplished through regular management meetings with key personnel, wherein business strategy for current activities and future growth are addressed and the ensuing work plan is developed.
Carey is involved with a number of professional and charitable organizations. He also supports many community, educational and athletic activities that involve his two children.
Chris joined the Colasanti group in 1979 and is actively involved in the day-to-day management of Colasanti Construction Services, Inc. including: operating plans, corporate policies, and short- and long-term objectives; establishing organizational structure; advising staff; and reviewing results of business operations.
He is also oversees the Preconstruction Department and manages the Estimating Department, which is responsible for bidding out many project types that use varying delivery methods.
Chris attended Michigan Technological University, receiving a degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation Chris started his career for Colasanti group in the field, learning the business from the ground up. His many years of hands-on hard work, intense desire and vision for success have been instrumental to the growth of CCSI.
Patrick Wysocki joined Colasanti in 2008. As President of CCSI, Pat coordinates and supervises company estimating and provides technical and administrative direction. This includes assisting corporate and project management to determine what types of projects to bid; review of final estimate packages; providing assistance in negotiating contracts and change orders; and administering direction to ensure the Estimating Department’s corporate objectives are met.
He attended the University of Detroit, Detroit, Michigan and obtained a bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1985.
Scott Meredith, VP of Operations: Construction Services
Scott Meredith joined Colasanti in 2005. Scott’s responsibilities as Vice President include continuous interface and coordination with project architects and subcontractors, overall project administration, and coordination and communication with the owner for issues involving cost and progress. As part of the Colasanti Team, Scott is also responsible for overseeing the site Superintendent in order to carry out project requirements and act as liaison with other departments such as engineering, estimating, labor relations, and safety. This process ensures that the work is completed to the owner’s current specifications and is built adhering to all company regulations.
Scott attended Western Michigan University, in Kalamazoo, MI and obtained a BS in Marketing in 1994 as well as Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI and obtained an MS – Construction Management.
Don Kosnik, Chief Financial Officer
Don Kosnik joined the Colasanti Group in 1986. Don has responsibility for all fiscal aspects of the company and its subsidiaries and affiliates. He oversees financial plans, accounting practices, cash management, accounting, budgeting, and tax and audit activities. Don is also responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data, managing and directing relationships with business and financial vendors, and developing and implementing changes to improve systems and financial performance.
Don, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), received a BS in Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University in 1979 and A Master of Science in Taxation from Walsh College in 1983.
Steven Williams, Corporate Safety Director
Steven L. Williams CEO of Williams, Harper Palmer & Associates began his career in risk and loss control in 1974. He was a pioneer in a field that was just in its infancy. Steven’s quest for knowledge allowed him to open many doors and develop himself into an expert in the risk and loss control field. Steven brings 38 years of experience in the construction industry and 33 years in loss control and safety to Colasanti. Steven has been an integral part of the Colasanti team, involved in the development, implementation and enforcement of all aspects of the company’s safety program. Steven is specifically responsible for corporate loss control, including day to day safety and risk management issues.
Steven attended Bishop College in Dallas, Texas, where he recieved a BS in Mathematics in 1970.
