Fontainebleau Resort and Casino

Colasanti Specialty Services, Inc. was selected as the concrete contractor to construct the Fontainebleau Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas strip. The project consists of approximately six million square feet including the hotel tower, casino podium and parking deck.

Colasanti Specialty Services constructed several cast-in-place, post-tension structures totaling more than 3,000,000 square feet of building space: 17-story hotel, casino/podium/ guest parking structure, and employee parking structure.

 

Ford Field

Ford Field

Colasanti Specialty Services constructed the new 65,000-seat home of the Detroit Lions, which featured a giant glass wall overlooking the picturesque Detroit skyline. The 1.8 million square foot concrete and steel frame structure was built on caissons extending to a depth of 125 feet. The stadium roof rises to nearly 170 feet above the playing surface, supported by the structural concrete frame that used in excess of 58,000 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete.

Colasanti Specialty Services and Colasanti Construction Services (the latter served as General Contractor) teamed up to construct this cast-in-place reinforced concrete structure. In excess of 10,500 tons of reinforcing steel was placed, with over 85,000 cubic yards of concrete formed, placed, and finished.

Colasanti Specialty Services constructed this state-of-the-art public works project for the City of Detroit. It is one of the largest water treatment plants in the U.S. Over 75,000 cubic yards of concrete was placed, with over 8,500 tons of reinforcing steel installed.

Northwest Airline New Midfield Terminal

Colasanti Specialty Services constructed the new Northwest Airlines terminal, which involved forming, placing, and the finishing of all concrete flat work and other structural concrete.
